Deployment should not be hard.
The ever growing tech ecosystem has created an environment where cloud providers are continuously adding complexity, conditioned on their previous structures, to meet the new demands of their users. This has made engineers rely on certificated experts, or spend valuable development time, just to get their apps or services out into the world.
The Askrike team have made two simple commitments: first, the deployment process should be as simple and minimal as possible, without compromising the granularity and configurability of a full setup on a cloud provider; second, that it should be as safe and reliable as hosting directly on a cloud platform. This makes hosting better, and that is what we have built.
All of this is achievable through good engineering. We too need a service like this, and we do not see anyone else creating it anytime soon. What we have made is nothing but deployment, engineered to be as simple and reliable as can be. At the click of a button.
